I’d like to be able to charge a phone from the usb, or add extra ports in for charging, or a wall out let or both hahaha. Have you tried remotely testing it? as in using a different power source? just seems like a hiccup if you’re not getting any power. You’re far more likely to spend the bulk of time.

Wall outlets provide 110-volt ac power, but amplifiers require 12-volt dc power. 25in speakers and 2 2in speakers , also with 2 5x7in (not in picture). This process is the same as. If the receiver/amplifier also has left and right rca plugs for subwoofer output, then be sure to also plug in both.

If this doesn’t happen then something’s gone wrong. If you’ve got a car amplifier you’d like to use in your home, there’s one major obstacle to overcome: how to power the amplifier. If you must have ceiling speakers everywhere, then run speaker cable to a connection point at a suitable location in each room. Loosen the power terminals of the amplifier, marked “+” and “-“, with a screwdriver.

Attach the cables and pull them up into the attic. A transformer plugs into the distribution hub and provides low-voltage power through the cat-5e cable to the keypad amplifiers. Step 6: wiring and powering up the headunit

The best way to accomplish this is by using banana clips (versus overlapping bare wire) that can plug into the backs of each other. Remove 1/2 inch of insulation from each end of the wires with your wire strippers. If there’s a negligible voltage coming from the source of the remote wire, that’s probably the issue – especially if the problem persists with different amps including a brand new one.
